Event tents ensure that the weather will not interfere with your event plans and clear span tents are great in this respect. Event tents also keep your guests shaded and more comfortable during your event or party and the 82' X 115' used clear span tent you see on the left is a good example of the big tents we commonly sell as event tents. It is not that big of a tent for us but is definitely considered a big event tent by most people who see it unless they have seen some of the larger tents we commonly sell such as the three 40 meter X 185 meter used clear span tents for sale further down on this page. This particular clear span tent is actually set up as a flea market tent currently though it could be used as a rodeo tent or equestrian event tent, a church gathering tent or church revival tent, an emergency shelter tent or disaster relief tent, a temporary hospital tent, a military tent, a construction site operations tent, an operations tent for many different kinds of activities. The 82' X 115' used clear span tent shown above is quite comfortable to be inside of just the way that it is set up in this picture. Because of the tent's sheer size, (9430 square feet) and clear span design the used clear span tent shown here is large enough to produce plenty of shade by cooling the earth beneath it enough to lower the temperature of the soil. The clear span tent's inherent design features encourage any breeze and because of this the temperature under the tent is relatively cool even on hot days. Clear span tents are also commonly outfitted with many accessories. For example we could easily provide sides for this unit and we have 3 larger clear span tents on this page which have been equipped with sides so you can see the differences in both appearance and ambiance that the sides create. With the addition of sides these clear span tents are normally equipped with tent air conditioning units or tent heating units and tent lighting systems such as those shown in the picture below.

equipped with most of the accessories that the majority of clear span tents we sell or rent have. A large clear span tent is usually accompanied by a generator, (or multiple generators) to provide electricity for our tent lighting systems, tent air conditioning systems, (or tent heating systems depending upon the time of year and the location of the venue). Many of these big tents are also equipped with tent liners which enhance the appearance of the interior of the tent.
As I mentioned earlier the clear span tent is a type of frame tent which simply means that the frame of the tent does the job of supporting the tent and giving the tent it's particular shape. Instead of using support poles and outer tie lines the clear span tent uses a rigid metal frame structure which grows in size as the tent's size increases. An example of a fairly large clear span tent's frame can be seen below.
As you can see the from the photo on the left. The incredibly rigid frame design of the clear span tent is quite strong and has many support bars designed to keep the tent structurally sound without the need of center poles or support ropes.
